Located below you will find the instructions and link to the application for the Junior Carpinterian of the Year Award and Scholarship. The application process requires both the written application, letters of recommendation, and an “in-person” oral interview with the Selection Committee. The committee is made up of local educators, business owners, and residents of Carpinteria.

After reviewing your written applications and oral interviews, the committee will select three finalists and invite them to the Community Awards Banquet, along with two guests (most often parents but not necessarily so) and each of the finalists will be recognized for their achievements. One of the three will then be honored as Junior Carpinterian of the Year.
